TIPS Training

The Clearview Library District Friends and Foundation will have volunteers working at the Beer Garden during the Summer Concert Series at Boardwalk Park again this summer. Because we will be serving alcohol, some volunteers need to be TIPS certified.

TIPSĀ® TRAINING FOR INTERVENTION PROCEDURES is the global leader in education and training for the responsible service, sale, and consumption of alcohol. TIPS is a skills-based training program that was designed to prevent intoxication, underage drinking, and drunk driving.

The Friends and Foundation has scheduled a TIPS training course and you are invited to attend. The course takes about 3 hours and your certification will be valid for 3 years. Please consider joining us for this training course and helping us during the Summer Concerts at Boardwalk Park this summer. The Friends and Foundation depends on volunteers to further their mission. Thank you for your time!
