Laura Pritchett is a multi-talented author of both fiction and non-fiction, who draws significant influence from Colorado and the American West in her writing. Her work, which focuses on issues of ecology, conservation, and social justice, has received many awards, including the PEN USA Award for Fiction, the High Plains Literary Award, the Milkweed National Fiction Prize, and the WILLA Fiction Award. Her published works include: The Blue Hour (2017); Making Friends with Death (2017); Red Lightning (2015); Stars Go Blue (2014); Sky Bridge (2007); Pulse of the River (2007); Hell's Bottom, Colorado (2001).

Each year, the Clearview Library District, Clearview Library District Friends & Foundation, and the Kathy Murphy Speaker Series Fund, are proud to present Clearview Reads, a series of literary events that brings popular authors into our community. 
Tickets are non-refundable but they are transferable.
